Science And Music Sharing Notes
It is a space for dialogue between science and art, in a dynamic interview-conversation format in the style of a “Late Show”, on stage and live. In each session, a scientist and a musician are invited to share their work with the audience, ask each other questions, and explain their creative processes, research, and experimentation exercises. During this conversation and interspersed, scientists and artists offer the audience small samples of their work such as scientific micro-talks, and musical performances.
This format allows for the establishment of an interdisciplinary bridge of learning between the arts and science, showing excellence in sciences, arts, and culture, and connecting new audiences to the different disciplines.
We want to create an innovative space for dialogue and exchange of experiences between representatives of the scientific community and artists. In each scientific-artistic conversation, we invite a moderator representing the perspective of the citizens, and serving as a bridge between art and science, also expressing their interests in the different disciplines, to energize the conversation. We procure in each edition, a diversity of profiles and genders, opinion leaders, and personalities respected by the citizens, regardless of cultural, professional, political, or social affiliations.
