SeaDance is an interactive and educational activity for a diverse array of partner centers (schools, civic centers, homes, playgrounds and leisure and environmental education spaces), in which the public learns the functioning of the microscopic marine networks of the coastal ecosystem of Barcelona through music and dance. SeaDance enhances the public understanding that research and conservation efforts currently underway are extremely important for social welfare.
LCATM has partnered with the scientists of the ‘Institut de Cièncias del Mar’ (Marine Sciences Institute) of Barcelona to transform their knowledge into the interactive experience of SeaDance, which has been designed, developed, and implemented by LCATM.
