AMP SOS Posidònia is an interactive installation showing the beauty, wealth, and importance of the Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) of the Balearic islands. The installation includes talks, games and other interactive activities, workshops, and a photo exhib. Talks are led by scientists and sea conservation organizations, on topics such as marine biodiversity, why MPAs are important and how we can help their good management, and the status and recent evolution of some important species of the Mediterranean wildlife, such as the penn shell and the Posidonia.
LCATM has partnered with 15 entities, including municipalities, NGOs, and research centers, to design and develop this successful interactive installation.
